Cap'n Cat's Boat is just of the south end of Main Street on the right in Chincoteague, Virginia. It's a classic old sport fishing boat.
When I was painting it (Plein Air) and persons would stop to observe and talk, a black cat would appear in one of the front windows. I figured he lived in the boat which has obviously been there for sometime with little or no attention.
